My time at Bowling Green State University has prepared me for the news industry. I consistently wrote well-written, fact-supported, interesting stories. My variety of stories show my proficiency in a different subjects and is a testament to my ability to quickly learn new topics. Have a look at some of my favorite stories below.
ONE REASON BLACK LIVES MATTER EXISTS
After word that National Street Preacher demonstrators were present at a mall, students from the University of North Texas gather to adjudicate their discriminatory discourse. The demonstrators chanted racist and homophobic slurs, while students, Black Lives Matter activists and members of the LGBT community redirected hate with celebration.
As acts of hate directed at underrepresented individuals continue, these individuals seek to invoke change. Within the black community, numerous situations have arisen, causing African Americans to analyze, question and brainstorm ways in which future occurrences can be rectified.
